Lexus RX350: Adventure-ready!

Combining SUV performance and luxury-sedan comfort, the RX350 is fully equipped for off-road adventures. The interior is very nicely designed, with a modern yet luxurious look. With leather trim, power tilt-telescoping steering (tied into the memory system), moonroof, power rear door, high-intensity headlamps, roof rails, wood and leather steering wheel and shift knob, and illuminated entry. The moon roof is unusually easy to use, with express opening (press the button once and it opens all the way), express closing, and a separate tilt up/close control. The high-intensity headlights are well focused, and with AFS coming into play they provide an excellent view of the road, without blinding all the other drivers, and they are augmented by standard halogens when the high beams are on.

The rain-sensing windshield wipers are well designed and convenient, working exactly as they should without any intervention.. There is also an automatic climate control with a driver and front passenger zone.

Overall, the Lexus RX350 has a lot going for it, beyond the excellent reputation of the manufacturer. The superior drive feel, quiet interior, comfortable and well designed, and other safety features inspire confidence, petrol mileage is better than most large SUVs, all wheel drive is standard, acceleration is good on sprints, the floor is just at the right height to make it easy to enter and exit, and the general feel is of quality and luxury.
