Intuitively detects if a collision is imminent by means of the vehicle’s front mounted millimeter-wave radar sensor. Preemptively retracts the front seatbelts and prepares Brake Assist, for increased braking pressure. Should a rear collision occur, it deploys active front headrests to avoid injury to head and neck.  

In the event of a rear end collision, the new GX460’s Active Head Rests snap forward, providing support to your neck to avoid spinal injuries.

Designed to help the driver maintain steering control during hard braking on surfaces with less traction—such as wet roads, gravel and sand.
